Ingredients:

  • Active Dry Yeast – 2 packets (¼ ounce each)
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil – ¼ cup + enough to grease a bowl
  • Coarse Salt – 2 teaspoons
  • All-purpose Flour – 4 cups
  • Warm water – 1 ⅓ cups

How to Make the Best Pizza Dough in 6 Easy Steps

Step 1: Add the yeast packets to a large mixing bowl filled with warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until foamy.

Step 2: Grease a large mixing bowl with olive oil and set aside.

Step 3: Add sugar, oil and salt into the yeast mixture and whisk together. Add the flour and stir until a dough forms.

Step 4: Transfer the dough to the greased mixing bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

Step 5: Lightly flour a table or countertop and place the dough on top. Gently knead a few times.
